I did this with my GT 001, and it works like a charm
Open RDIF1148.INF in a text editor...
Change the following lines from:
[Roland.NTx86.6.2]
;; Windows8
%RDID0148DeviceDesc%=RDID0148Install, USB\VID_0582&PID_0187 ; GT-001
[Roland.NTx86.7]
;; not supported
To
[Roland.NTx86.6.2]
;; Windows8
%RDID0148DeviceDesc%=RDID0148Install, USB\VID_0582&PID_0187 ; GT-001
[Roland.NTx86.7]
;; Windows 10
%RDID0148DeviceDesc%=RDID0148Install, USB\VID_0582&PID_0187 ; GT-001
Un tío pregunta si eso se hizo instalando y luego desinstanlando:
"It seems you might have something and similar edits might work for your other Roland drivers. Did you alter the installers and reinstall or did you edit the files in the RDdrv001 directory?"
La respuesta es que se instalo, luego se desinstalo y en los archivos que quedan en la carpeta hay que editar ese INF con un editor de texto, y luego se instala todo nuevamente: "I just uninstalled all Roland drivers which were partially installed (Win 8.1), then altered INF file (from Win 8.1 32 bit installation folder) like i wrote earlier, hit Setup.exe and hey presto! It works, at least for my GT 001."
Otro usuario confirma que le ha funcionado:
"I don’t believe it! I did what neskop said and it worked.
I have just updated Window7 to Windows 10 and then tried to load Boss Tone Studio but it said it couldn’t find the drivers, so I thought I would just reload the drivers and I would be good to go, but no. As soon as the driver started loading you are asked to connect the USB and switch the GT100 on, I did that and it just sits there doing nothing. So I uninstalled and tried again but still the same.
I then saw neskop post so I thought I would give it a go, there are some minor differences as I am using a GT100 instead of a GT001, the file name is different ie RDIF1149.INF not RDIF1148.INF, but I did what he said and I then successfully loaded the drivers and I can now use Boss Tone Studio on Windows10.
Thank you neskop."
