Founded in 2005 by former employees of Analog Audio and Kurzweil, Source Audio primarily manufactures guitar and bass pedals along with select effects designed for EDM.

The Soundblox series was designed as a streamlined, durable rendition of the original Hot Hand effects. The Envelope Filter includes an interface of 21 envelope filter settings as well as Hot Hand, LFO and Envelope Follower source points.
