Hola!
For sale is this Rare Vintage Silvertone 1478 Silhouette
Solid Body Electric Guitar with 2 DeArmond Pickups.
This is the Silvertone version of the Harmony H-19, was made by
Harmony between 1963 and 1967, and has become one
of the more desirable and collectable guitars that Harmony built.
I haven’t taken this apart, so I don’t know the exact year it was made.
This is a great sounding and playing guitar.
The switch, pickups, and Tone & Volume controls are working properly.
The action is low and very smooth on every note from one end of
the fretboard to the other, with no string or fret buzzing.
The adjustable neck is straight, and the frets
show very little noticeable wear, with plenty of life left in them.
The body is solid with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. There are some
scratches, marks, and checking in the finish, along with a few
dings and dents, which is common for a guitar that is almost 50 years old.
The only flaw that I can find is a crack in one of the corners of the pickguard.
