This 1981 Made in Japan Ibanez comes from the company's golden era of production (late 70s-mid 80s), right around the lawsuit era. The guitars that Ibanez produced during this time were made at the legendary Fujigen factory and are very high quality instruments. Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead were huge fans and have signature models.
This Mc-150 was made with quality craftmanship in the early 80’s in Japan. This is a professional level guitar and it is all original. The Super 58s pickups are great lively and full of tone. The frets and fretboard are in excellent condition with no wear. The finish has a cool aged yellow tint happening . The back of the guitar shows no buckle rash. This one has for sure not been played very much or gigged with. There are a few dings but overall the guitar is really clean.
