FENDER PRECISION ELITE I (1983)

La serie Fender Elite (modelos Precision, Strato y Tele) se fabricó en el año 83 y se vendió hasta el año 85. eran los modelos "premium" de Fender. El concepto era la revisión de algunos de ls modelos ya existentes de Fender, añadiendo nueva tecnología a estos.

Los Precision Elite se hicieron con dos modelos básicos. Con una sola pastilla o un modelo con dos pastillas. Este bajo se fabricaba en la factoría Fender en California y el pre amp y las pastillas fueron diseñadas por Paul Gagon, que ahora es vice presiente de la sección de ingeniería de la marca G&L guitars.

The Fender Elite range (Precision, Strat and Tele models) was made in 1983 and sold between 1983 and the start of 1985. They were "premium" models. The concept was to revise some of the existing Fender designs with new technology.

The Precision Elite came in two basic models, a single pickup type and a dual pickup type. On top of this basic model type, there were choices of a maple plus rosewood or all maple neck, plus choices of chrome or gold finish on the metal hardware.

This bass was made at Fender's factory in California. The preamp and pickups were designed by Paul Gagon, who now is vice president of engineering at G&L guitars.
