TELECASTER AMERICAN STANDARD, made in USA (2003-2004). Vendo porque soy guitarrista acústico y ya tengo una Stratocaster USA de 1981 que me basta para las pocas veces que uso eléctrica en bolos. Compré la guitarra en 2005 en una tienda (EUFONIA) en Sabadell que ya no existe, lamentablemente. Desde entonces la guitarra ha salido de casa 4 veces, 3 para bolos y la última el año pasado (2016) a una puesta a punto a Herrera Guitars en Barcelona, ya que nunca se le había hecho nada. TODOS LOS COMPONENTES SON ORIGINALES, no tiene ni un rasguño ni nada porque, repito, prácticamente no se ha usado.
NO QUIERO CAMBIOS (ni por guitarras acústicas) así que no contestaré a propuestas de cambio. No tengo prisa alguna por venderla y me reservo el derecho a retirarla en cualquier momento si la vendo por otros foros nacionales o internacionales. Prioridad al trato en mano en Barcelona. What makes this guitar special: This is a great playing and great sounding Tele that, for over 10 years old, is still nice and clean. The pickups in this guitar are the real highlight, as they embody the tenured Tele tone with lots of low to mid-range growl and a bit of warmth in the neck and the ultimately classic spank and twang of the bridge. The neck plays great with the setup Herrera Guitars (Barcelona) gave it in 2016 (http://www.herreraguitars.com). All in all, this is a solid American Tele with equally great sound, playability, and aesthetics.

Why is the guitar on sale ?: I am the original buyer (2005) but I essentially play acoustic guitar. I already have a 1981 US made Stratocaster which is more than enough for me that I barely use electric on stage.

Condition: This Tele is in excellent condition overall, especially for being over 10 years old. It has always been kept at a non-smoking home and just left the place for 3 gigs in about 15 years. The frets do not show wear so still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Single cutaway body in Black finish. 3-ply white pickguard. Deluxe-style plate bridge with individually adjustable saddles. Knurled chrome control knobs.

Neck: Modern C shape maple neck and 9.5” radius maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale. Sealed chrome tuning machines.

Electronics: American Telecaster single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 8 lbs 7.1 oz

Playability/Sound: The neck on this Tele is familiar and comfortable as any and plays great from the nut to the cutaway. The pickups have tons of classic Tele tone, from the low to mid growl of the neck to the snap and twang of the bridge.
