* [added] Possibility of indicating the number of loops before incrementing tempo, when using the Speed Trainer.
* [added] Possibility of letting the countdown play with each new loop or not.
* [added] Notation element for string number on standard notation.
* [added] Stylesheet option for defining the orientation of rhythmics on tablature for each voice.
* [added] Command for fusing rhythmics of different voices on tablature.
* [added] Displaying of pick-strokes on tracks in standard notation.
* [added] Displaying of accentuations and ornaments on tablature.
* [added] Possibility to add the legato notation element on stringed instruments.
* [added] Stylesheet option for forcing horizontal beams on drums and percussion tracks.
* [added] Fingering on piano tracks.
* [added] Adjusting the level of Palm-Mute for a given track (Instrument panel).
* [added] Global detune.
* [added] File-recovery after software crash.
* [added] Special characters handled in the stylesheet.
* [added] Possibility to prefix a chord's name by a ' to keep Guitar Pro from reformating the name
* [added] Option for reorganizing bars based on current system.
* [added] Option to force the use of MIDI channels 11 to 16 (one channel per string).

* [improvement] Score-tracking during playback.
* [improvement] Overall support for banjo tracks (fretboard, notations, edition, import, tuning display).
* [improvement] New MusicXML importer that also handles MXL files (i.e., compressed MusicXML).
* [improvement] Importing speed for MIDI files.
* [improvement] Reduced CPU load on Mac OS.
* [improvement] Classic and Jazz fonts.
* [improvement] Design of beams on tablature.
* [improvement] Design of slashes.
* [improvement] Positioning of rests on slash tracks and on certain percussion tracks.
* [improvement] Design of slurs and HO-PO.
* [improvement] Design of let-ring and octave clefs.
* [improvement] Design of slides on tablature.
* [improvement] Placing of certain elements in multi-voice mode (staccato, etc.).
* [improvement] Design of triplets.
* [improvement] A "." after numbers of alternate endings.
* [improvement] Changes of variations can be made on all voices.
* [improvement] Option for reorganizing systems that keep a same size for all bars.
* [improvement] The "Special paste" dialog window now retains the options selected.
* [improvement] Playback volume raised for scales.
* [improvement] Display of tracks using MIDI channels.
* [improvement] MIDI playback (let ring, trills, fermata, palm-mute, gruppetto...).
* [improvement] Any new "electric piano" track will use the "Rhodes" soundbank upon creation.
* [improvement] Section names truncated in global view.
* [improvement] Appearance of a section menu, for quicker access and navigation.

* [fixed] Improving the slash staff rendering.
* [fixed] Go to last bar button was disabled.
* [fixed] Right hands fingering above the staff was not displayed.
* [fixed] A repeat mark was ignored if an alternate ending and a Fine was placed in the same bar.
* [fixed] Dotted and scottish 8th are now using the correct font element.
* [fixed] Possible crash when inserting a tie with multi-voice mode activated.
* [fixed] Possible program shutdown when capturing notes with a virtual instrument.
* [fixed] Possible crash when capturing notes on standard notation for a guitar track with capo.
* [fixed] Crash when printing a write-protected pdf file, or when no printer is available.
* [fixed] Problem with selection on the score when the cursor-tracking option is deactivated.
* [fixed] Adding a tie no longer inserts a variation change.
* [fixed] Beam-grouping is preserved when bars are added.
* [fixed] Adding a tie in a bar following an anacrusis no longer adds extra notes.
* [fixed] Problem with "undo" after inserting a tie in multi-voice mode.
* [fixed] Problem when inserting notes via the virtual keyboard on a guitar track with capo.
* [fixed] Initialization of clef-change dialogue window for grand staff.
* [fixed] The trombone is not a transposing instrument.
* [fixed] Problem preventing changes in fingering or the name of a chord.
* [fixed] Crash when capturing notes with keyboard or virtual instrument and into a simile bar.
* [fixed] Crash when copying chords from piano track to guitar track.
* [fixed] Crash when using the "re-organize bars" tool with a document containing Simile Marks (%).
* [fixed] Problem that could generate too short a WAV file.
* [fixed] Instability issue after importing a gp5 file that contained cyrillic characters.
* [fixed] Instability issue after importing a gp5 file that contained invalid tempo-automations.
* [fixed] Instability issue after importing certain MIDI files.
* [fixed] Crash when importing large MIDI files.
* [fixed] Problem when playing a selection with countdown activated.
* [fixed] Problem when playing a pick-up bar (anacrusis) with countdown activated.
* [fixed] Possible program-freeze when countdown is activated.
* [fixed] Reverb and chorus are suppressed when playing a score in MIDI mode
* [fixed] Issue with updating the audio engine after adding a tie.
* [fixed] Issue hiding certain bends.
* [fixed] In multi-track display mode, the chords and tuning are displayed only for visible tracks.
* [fixed] Possible blocking of the opening of Help file on Mac OS.
* [fixed] The buttons on the "crash report" dialog window could be inactive.
* [fixed] Crash when selecting a hidden track in the global view, in "Whole Score" display mode.
* [fixed] The "&" character displays properly in section names.

Guitar Pro 6.0.9 - Latest Release (r9934 2011-06-30)

* [added] New user interface for soundbank selection, by way of an integrated browser.
* [added] Integrations of RSE soundbank changes and/or pickup changes into the track.
* [added] New lossless compression algorithm for the incoming soundbanks.
* [added] MacOS- 10.7 Lion support.
* [Fixed] Stability issue on Windows Vista.
* [Fixed] Symbols and fingering for pick upstrokes and downstrokes can be placed on tied notes.
* [Fixed] In Jazz, C time signature was invisble.
* [Fixed] Undo (Ctrl+Z) did not restore second voice.
* [Fixed] A crash was possible when using multi-voice editing.
* [Fixed] Snare did not consider brush playing style.
