Job Title: PRODUCT SPECIALIST/DEMONSTRATOR - Europe
Essential Job Description:
Applications are invited for the position of Product Specialist/Demonstrator. Reporting to the European Sales Director under limited supervision, you will be responsible for developing, planning and organising materials needed for the training and presentation of all Line 6 products.
Main duties of the role include:
• Confer and interface with Product Marketing, Marketing Services, Sales and other Departments to create materials that aid the sales team and others in the field to position and present new products.
• Creates demonstration materials and demonstrates products both for internal sales meetings and external trade shows and key dealer events.
• Conducts training on all products for the Line 6 sales team, key dealers and distributors and when required to support sales and marketing at trade shows.
• Travels internationally mentoring and training the field sales team, key dealers and top distributors in Europe providing tools and materials for their use and sell Line 6 products.
• Functions as the inside contact and advocate for all sales personnel.
The role involves extensive travelling with frequent nights away from home and regular travel to Line 6 head office in California, US. The role also requires attendance at major industry trade shows in the UK as well as International Trade Shows.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience of selling MI equipment in various channels, have experience of training staff and demonstrating products. A high level of guitar playing ability is required along with a working knowledge of computer based recording. A driving licence is also a pre-requisite for prospective candidates.
