Guitarra del 2013

Reissue del 1963 ligeramente envejecida por la Custom Shop. Una delicia para ver y tocar.

Solamente la he tocado en casa y ultimamente la tengo un poco aburrida por no tocarla por falta de tiempo. Tiene signos de uso dentro de lo normal pero en general la guitarra está muy muy bien.

La guitarra viene con dos tipos de puentes. Uno con las silletas de plastico vintage, y otra de metal. Me la vendieron con las de metal puestas, y hace 10 días las cambíé por las de plastico. Yo no aprecio diferencia, pero puede ser que sea yo. En todo caso me gusta más así con el look vintage. No obstante, incluyo tambien el otro puente, porque para gustos, colores.

La vendo por un ataque de GAS de alto nivel.

New for 2013 comes the 50th Anniversary Gibson 63 ES335 reissue, celebrating 50 years of one of the most iconic and historically relevant electric guitars from the Golden Age of Gibson Guitars. It is available in two fabulous colors, Historic Burst and 60s Cherry. The Historic Burst harkens back to the bursts used on the originals, the amber center and brown edges are softer and look more “aged”. The 60s Cherry color looks authentic and like a vintage 60s 335, it has more of a ruby look to it with a fabulous “older” hue. This incredible semi-hollow body has been extensively reworked, it features historically correct slim horns at the cutaway, thinner period-correct body, hand selected lightweight woods including the mahogany neck and correct “window” centerblock, cedar rim lining, spruce back and top bracing, period correct wiring harness and “Black Beauty” capacitors. The neck profile has been painstakingly redone to match the original, it is fairly thin at the nut and tapers beautifully to a more chunky neck at the 12th fret, the neck heel is smaller and also vintage correct. The 63 ES335 comes with long studs and inserts that transmit more vibration and soul between the neck and body, ABR-1 bridge and lightweight tailpiece, Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups, Nylon saddles, tulip button single-line Kluson tuners, and a black with yellow lining case like the originals.
